agree  Rasa Racevičiūtė: angliškai 'cheese' vadinama ir tai, kad labiau primena mūsų varškę (minkštesnė, kreminė substancija), ir tai, ką mes vadinam sūriu (kietesnė, tam tikrą formą turinti substancija). 'cheesecake' gaminamas iš to, kas primena varškę, todėl - 'varškės pyragas'
