English term or phrase: Love Above All
I'm looking for a latin translation for the phrase "love above all" as in I believe in love above all else.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks.

love above all
amor ante omnia

Explanation:
It's been a while since I took Latin classes, so I can't be so sure, especially about the word order (amor ante omnia vs. ante omnia amor). I hope you mean Latin language, the classical, ancient one, not Romance languages in general.

Good question.
Super or supra mean above (over, on top of) but I don't know which one is better to use. Besides, "above all" is an idiom, I think, at least I've found it translated as "ante omnia" in many contexts (God, family, honour, even Muses). So it's not a word-by-word translation, also omnia is plural for all (all things).

"Dulce ante omnia musae" (The Muses, above all things, delightful).

Asker: Thanks for the info. Another question, does "ante" mean both 'before' and 'above?'
