English term or phrase: There's a light at the end of the tunnel.
This is for a language learning calendar on each day of which an expression is written to be memorised. I have searched all the authorities in vain for a Latin equivilent. Has anyone any ideas?

Explanation:
I have searched for phrases related with hope:

Qui satis expectat prospera cunta videt
Liceat sperare timenti (Lucanus, Phar. 2, 15)
Omnia homini dum vivit speranda sunt (Sen. Ep. 70, 6)
Spe gaudentes in tribulatione patientes (St. Paul, Rom. 12,12)
In secundis time, in adversis spera

Nevertheless, I think a literal translation would be understood:

Caniculi fine lucem reperies
Caniculi fine lux est
Caniculi extremo lucem videbis

post tenebras lux

Explanation:
I don't actually think this is quite what you want! I thought of it and then discovered it was the Calvinist motto. I tried adapting it using words like 'specus' or 'canalis' but haven't yet come up with a good match for 'tunnel'. Does your phrase need to be a quotation from somewhere or can it just be something 'made up'?
