該当部分を普通の「ニートの「活性化」」と訳すと違和感があり(検索しても殆どヒットしません)、「ニートの社会参画」のような訳語を当ててみても差し支えはなさそうでしょうか。activationのニュアンスが「社会参画」という言葉まで包み込んでいるのか、個人差があると思っています。

確かに仰るように、「活性化」ではおかしいですよね。活性化というとどからかというと人より物に対して使う言葉なので。あえてニートの社会参加を提案します。社会参加の方が自然なような気がしますし、ネットでもかなりヒットがあります。

agree  Dr Kats: NEETがunemployedとわざわざ修飾されていること、また日本語としてより自然ということと合わせて、Huiさんが提案されているように「社会復帰」がより合っていると思います。 ちなみに、Social Constructionは「社会が作り出している若い世代の諸問題」youth problemsのことですので、activationと並行ではないでしょう。

「問題を明らかにした」わけではなく、「問題が社会的に作られている状況について明らかにした」という意味ではないかと思います。翻訳文全体がないのでわかりませんが、YASUTOMOさん内容を確認ください。

ACTIVATIONは文法上、AS WELL AS でやはり並列ではないかと。。。ただ、上記の説明わかりにくかったですね。すみません。

ACITIVATION については、社会復帰 のほうがいいと思います。以下、賛成しておきました。

ただ、ACTIVATIONの意味をもう少し付け加えたほうがいいならば、「ニートの社会復帰の促進」にしてみてはどうでしょうか。とはいえ、全体の翻訳文がないので確かではないですが、翻訳原文の前後の事例に合わせて検討ください。
