agree  murasakinoyuki: 確かに原文に "from - to" と "not only X but also Y" の混同が見られますが、ysakumaさんご自身がおっしゃってる解釈でOKです。 X's SSD expands the use of SSDs from "only being used as a primary storage medium", to "also being used as a complementary drive to blah-blah-blah" という意味ですよね。
