English term or phrase: to rack (cable)
Buongiorno e buona Pasqua a tutti.

Ecco alcuni esempi:

- SPLICING, TERMINATING, AND RACKING DE-ENERGIZED CABLE
- Workers shall rack cables in a manner as not to disturb other circuits.
- Re-racking energized conductors is not permitted.
- Circuit breakers shall be open and racked out as required except during testing or when connected to Ship.
- Open, remove from cubicle (rack out)
- A worker wearing the required PPE shall rack in circuit breaker(s) into circuit breaker cubicle(s)

inserire (rack in) / montare (rack) / estrarre (rack out)
Explanation:
rack out = estrarre

rack = a framework or structure on which apparatus is mounted, usually by means of shelves,or mounting plates.

collegare/scollegare al/dal quadro

Explanation:

https://spikeelectric.com/products/electrical-switch-racks/

Si può quindi dire:
collegare al quadro = rack in
scollegare dal quadro = rack out

https://www.heatingandprocess.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04...
