Asker: Grazie Simona, in realtà facendo delle ricerche mi sono imbattuta in questo dizionario https://www.wordreference.com/enit/like in cui si fa riferimento proprio all'espressione che serve a me e la traduce come "diceva cose tipo". Mi chiedo quindi se posso tranquillamente usare questa espressione.

Altra cosa: non è detto che lei lo stia effettivamente dicendo (anche se è virgolettato).
Mi è venuto il dubbio con quel "was". Se fosse "she WENT, like" ti direi che è una battuta di lei, ma in questo caso il narratore potrebbe riferirsi a un atteggiamento di menefreghismo che lei ha assunto, un gesto ad esempio
