neutral  juvera: Mindössze csipegették, szemezgették, NEM lenyúlták. Furcsa lenne, ha a szeme előtt lenyúlnák, ugye? Ha a vendéglátó kikészít ezt-azt a vendégeknek, akkor folytonos kínálgatás helyett azt mondja nekik: Please, help yourselves.

  -> A "lenyúlást" szlenges kontextusban gondoltam. Nemrég hallottam diákokat beszélni így: "a buliban jól lenyúltuk a Sanyi összes kóláját" - és nem lopásra gondoltak. Érzésem szerint a "help oneself to" több a csipegetésnél, tisztességes evésre is használják
