| My problem is not to the term itself, but rather with its inclusion in a dictionary and conferring it legitimacy. Neither of us can stop neologisms from being used, but we can definitely not give them legitimacy as Hebrew terms by inclusion in respectable dictionaries. If this term is used widely enough in its current form, it will find its way into the language in even without this. Alternatively, if you can propose a Hebrew term, not a transliteration, and it catches on because it becomes as useful as "telephone" or "email", I'll be happy to support it! |
