Der Ausdruck steht in einem Hinweis am Ende eines 1983er Bill of Sale für ein Segelboot. Der Ganze Satz lautet: "Registered Owners or Morragees are reminded of the importance of keeping the Registrar of British Ships informed of any change of residence on their part."

"To moore" ist ja ankern/festmachen, sodass ich davon ausgehe, dass es was mit Liegplätzen zu tun hat. Von der Endung her muss es jemand sein, der eine Berechtigung für etwas hat. Meine Idee ist daher, es mit "Liegplatzberechtigte" zu übersetzen. Allerdings finde ich hierzu nicht allzu viele Treffer im Netz, die mir vertrauenswürdig erscheinen. Gibt es vielleicht ein anderes Fachwort dafür?

I didn't know how to propose an answer to a term that doesn't seem to really exist, but maybe this works.

After all the discussion with added links I'm very confident the term has a typo and is supposed to mean "mortgagee", with the most common German translation in Bills of Sale as "Hypothekengläubiger".
