Der Zusatz von "finanziell" oder ähnlichen ist entbehrlich, weil das bereits im ersten Satzteil "The annual pay-out from the Fund can be used freely to be expended towards research consumables and equipment ..." angesprochen wird und es auch andere als finanzielle Mittel gibt, die Forschungen zu erleichtern.
