f. op. d. ll. Fonds/Aktenbestand, Opis/Aktengruppe, Delo/Akte, ll Seiten / Paginierung Explanation: Also see p.8 in https://www2.warwick.ac.uk/fac/soc/economics/staff/mharrison... for the method of identifying files. The guide to Russian archives, see http://www.iisg.nl/abb/rusfed.php, lists GAAO for four different regional archives. So you'd have to be more specific about the place. In your case F. 5577, op. 1, d. 549 a, ll. 20-23. - F / Fonds / Aktenbestand is for the respective group of files, op. is for detailed description of the group or part of the group / Findbuch, d. is for file/Akte, in this case Akten-Nummer 549 a. II. as was clarified by Jan himself is for pages / pagination. I would also leave the abbreviations untranslated. Thanks for adding the explanation of ll. Sorry for the silence, I had a grave computer problem for various days. |
