Wischtechnik/Wischlasur/Antikiert Explanation: Often a white, almost transparent, wash applied to wood to make it look old - often used in maritime themes - looks like driftwood. Simulates limewash or an "antique" finish, and is generally applied with thinned acrylic paint on a sponge. Often applied with a Krakeleur-Effekt (cracking and crazing) in a contrasting colour Example sentence(s):
