English term or phrase: F hand position
Context:
"That’s where the Thumb Under Technique comes into play.
Lay your hand starting with note C like you always do.
Play C, D, and E.
Move your thumb under the third finger to reach note F and the rest of the fingers to follow the thumb.
Voila! Your 5 fingers are now placed on F, G, A, B, and the high C.
This hand position is known as F hand position."

"La position du La?" I couldn't find this anywhere online.
As for "high C," I translated it with "Le Do de l'octave supérieure."
Any other ideas? Thanks!

Thanks. Yes that sounds right and I found it on line. That's actually what I had decided on earlier (I wrote position de la but I meant position de fa.)

f hand position
fa position de la main

Explanation:

Notes to answerer
