Law: Taxation & Customs / Will
English term or phrase: served
Hello,

I am translating a Will and the chapter is about "Proceedings involving my estate"

The sentence says : Nevertheless, any Executor may submit its account to a court for approval and settlement, in which event, if a party to the proceedings has the same interest as a person under a disability, it shall not be necessary to serve the person under a disability."

What does serve mean here ? to include ?

Thanks!
