disagree  Mohamed Hosni: Not in this context. Cascade means anything that resembles a waterfall, "especially" in seeming to flow or fall in abundance. and it's not the case in this context.

  -> Why not?

neutral  Tony M: The picture on page 47 of their PDF catalogue clearly shows the 'curtain' of chocolate; however, I think the 'cascade' operation they talk about is not the same thing. I think it refers to using 2 machines 'in casacde'

  -> Couldn't find the catalogue. But now think "cascade" means something else about the process.

Peer comments on this answer (and responses from the answerer)
disagree  Tony M: To start with, the verb would be wrong; and in any case, this literal, word-by-word translation would be meaningless in this or indeed any other context. / Oh dear, oh dear! "Firstly,..." then, if you prefer.
14 mins
  -> "eau tombent " does not start with the verb!.

disagree  Germaine: Please, PLEASE! Use a dictionnary and try to make sense.

disagree  Mohamed Hosni: Please think very well about these terms "enrobing", "dipping", "showering", and you'll find out that the context is about " une eau tombent

agree  Tony M: I think this makes most sense so far — though I'd feel happier if we had more concrete references to corroborate.

From the ref. kindly provided by BDF, here is a direct link to the PDF catalogue, on page 47 of which can be seen a clear photo of the 'curtain' of molten chocolate that is I believe what is being referred to here as a 'waterfall':
