Confining animals to an area of grazing land to be grazed in a relatively short period of time, where the paddock size is varied to allow access to a specific land. Strip grazing may or may not be a form of rotational stocking, depending on whether or not specific paddocks are utilised for recurring periods of grazing and rest.

Definition:
Strookbegrazing is een andere vorm van rantsoenbegrazing. Het principe is als volgt: bij strookbegrazing wordt gewerkt met een verplaatsbare afrastering, bestaande uit prikpaaltjes met stroomlint of –koord. Deze afrastering wordt regelmatig (meestal dagelijks) een stukje verplaatst, zodat er een nieuwe strook vers, lang gras voor de paarden beschikbaar komt. Is het lange gras op en de dag nog niet om, dan zullen ze het verder moeten doen met de korte sprietjes van het al afgegraasde stuk wei.

No  EddyArtEco: Strip grazing refers to both grazing on agricultural land and grazing on semi-natural rangeland and in nature reserves. Beweiding refers only to agricultural grazing. The Dutch word trip usually refers to a narrow piece of land. so strook is better. a

Yes  EddyArtEco: Strookbegrazing is the best translation. Most websites on strookbegrazing deal with horse grazing or milk cow grazing. A definition should be more general to include rotational grazing in semi-natural paddocks and nature reserves.
