NA ISTOČNOJ obali Sjeverne Amerike, kod grada Plymoutha (Massachusetts), nalazi se veliki granitni kamen na kojem je uklesan broj 1620. Općenito se smatra da se taj kamen, koji je nazvan Plymouth Rock, nalazi blizu mjesta na kojem se prije gotovo 400 godina iskrcala jedna skupina Europljana. Bili su to engleski puritanci (”Pilgrims“ ili ”Pilgrim Fathers“) koji su došli u Ameriku u potrazi za vjerskom slobodom.....
