this book belonged to my grandfather. i thought it was a passport, but i have now come to think it had to do with him being in the service. these are the other words that are on the cover if it is of some help (i don't know what they are either). CAPS are typed on, lower case are hand written. REGIMENT KORPS landstorm (?) BATALJON AFDEELING
COMPAGNIE ESKADRON BATTERIJ then underneath it is VELDZAKBOEKJE VAN van ewyk (my grandfather's last name)
