Danish term or phrase: produktudvikle
Really most interested here in answers relating to the context of selling web services, because I suspect there is jargon loose in these woods tonight. The source reads: "For at kunne produktudvikle X fører vi statistik over, hvordan og hvem der anvender portalen."

Why should I not use just "develop" and thus follow Thoreau's advice: "Simplify. Simplify. Simplify." Is it because this involves a new web service and the message is about adding useful products in the future to meet customer demand, to wit: "In order to be able to develop products for X, we keep statistics on how the portal is used and and who uses it."

If there really are people out there using "product develop" as a verb phrase, I'm better off not knowing that. It would be too depressing to find out. OK, tell me about it if you wish, but you have to promise not to do it yourself. The contagion must be stopped. ;-)

disagree  564354352 (X): This just sounds weird. In response to your response: 'Productify' must mean 'to turn something into a product', which does not appear to be the context. So, I still disagree with your suggestion.

-> Yes, doesn't it? But nevertheless, this is the lingo in the context Charles ask for. I would be careful not to dismiss it just because it does not fit MY taste......

monetize X (as a product)

Explanation:
An option if you are fairly sure they mean ‘spin off products from the concept’.

disagree  564354352 (X): This has a negative ring to it, IMO, why would anyone tell their potential customers via their website that they want to 'monetize' based on statistics provided by the customers?

-> Fair enough, it can sound cold if said to potential customers.

keep on improving our products

Explanation:
Really, this is about as much of a cliché as ´produktudvikle´, but I use it in some contexts where it means a gradual evolution rather than a whole new product.

When I´m in a pessimistic mood, developments can go both ways! (My husband has just been ranting about a fabulous new website full of popups. He wants the old one back - it was printer-friendly!)

While improvements should result from really listening to the users :-)

Improving/improvements
Enhancements
add/create new features

... If you are allowed the time and a little freedom to formulate something that sounds good, there are several possibilities.
