Tech/Engineering - Manufacturing / Total Productive Management system in a manufacturing firm
Danish term or phrase: central søjleansvarlig, søjlestøtter, lokal søjleansvarlig
it's some sort of management/leadership/group structure- and I see(some of) the terms used in danish public health documents describing hopsital staff structures. I'm tempted to use project leader etc. but then I know that's not quite right...

Explanation:
As far as I know, the use of "søjle" to describe organisational structures is a fairly new occurrance. You could probably use translations such as "section" or "division" but I suggest "stream", which basically describes the same thing but is also a fairly new term in this context.......:-)

Hi jens, thakns a lot.. the terms seem to stem from TPM( Total Productive Management or Total Productive maintainace) - a lot of diagrams show a building structure supported by various pillars- and of course each pillar has a function role in the firm( you can tell I've been googling!)
Thanks so much for your help.
