I'm really struggling to understand the word order and grammar in this section for some reason. The whole sentence is:

Ved Court of Appeal’s dom af xx juli xxxx er 1. instans-afgørelsen blevet ændret (selvom dommerne oprindeligt var indstillet på at stadfæste den), idet retten som EF-domstolen er nået frem til, at XXX ikke har fort bevis for, at der er foretaget en væsentlig investering i databasedirektivets forstand.

It's the , idet retten that's the particular problem. Would someone mind pointing me in the right direction, please? Retten seems to have quite a lot of translations.
