as of ... as Explanation: My understanding of this sentence is as follows: "hereved fra den XX at regne" means: hereby as of xx "som løjtnant" means as lieutenant In other words, the three words "at regne som" are parts of two separat parts of the sentence. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 28 mins (2012-02-05 19:28:54 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Oh dear, spelling going haywire here... hereved = herved separat = separate |
