disagree  Daryo: makes no sense in this case: you "release" something put on hold (remove some limitations) - the departing shareholder is not some kind of prisoner waiting to be "set free" from the company [nor their shares].

  -> It is not the shareholder who is being released, it is the shares (ownership interest). I have translated many such agreements. An "agreement" to allow "withdrawal" is not seen, & is counterintuitive. The term "withdrawal" is unidiomatic here, in English.
