Here's the context:

所以我一来呢，他们就叫我在这方面继续搞研究，当时在世界上面呢有两个主要的理论，有一个就是我们CSIRO创立的长期越种理论，叫做核心越种理论。另外一个是美国跟新西兰科学家创立的叫做亚细越种前期理论。

It's from a transcript of a talk, so it's possible that they have used the wrong characters. I can't find it anywhere on google, can't find it on any other website.
