ІМНО - понастоящем по-разбираем е изразът get-together - social gathering - среща (на непознати) за запознаване с работна обстановка и колеги, обикновено с ядене и попийване (по наши стандарти - постна работа!!) В "селски условия" - седянка.
Вee - social gathering for work or amusement - тлака пар екселанс! Само че не в "селски условия", а "по интереси" - кръжец по интереси ;-)

agree  palilula (X): Чудесна отправка! Една делик. разлика м/у тлака и седянка: при седянка, обикновено всяка участваща жена си носи някакво ръкоделие, има някаква дребна почерпка в зависимост от сезона - варена пресна царевица или зряла; тлака - безвъзм. помощ на домакините.
