Hi. I'm Lauren, a freelance Spanish to English translator based in Manchester, UK. I recently graduated with a MA in Translation and Interpreting from the University of Manchester and am now starting my career as a freelance translator.

I offer translation, subtitling and transcription services for competitive rates. Prior to completing my Master's degree, I graduated with a First-Class BA (Hons) Degree in Modern Language Studies (specialising in Spanish). Both my degrees gave me the opportunity to translate documents from a wide variety of sectors, including in my two chosen specialisations: tourism and literary translation.

Outside of education, I have undertaken several volunteer translation positions. I recently worked with TED Translators to produce English subtitles for their Spanish TED Talks. My subtitles have been published on their YouTube channel. I also worked on a team translation project for FreeStoriesForKids.com in which I helped to translate three children's stories from Spanish to English.
