Bio
Liamar López García became acquainted with the world of translation at Granada University, approximately 12 years ago, when she embarked on her studies towards a Translation and Interpreting qualification. However, her link with languages dates back to her childhood. She was born in the USA but moved to Spain with her family at the age of three. This resulted in her essentially growing up in a bilingual environment since birth.

During a highly valued 2-year scholarship at Peking University she learnt Chinese and gained proficiency in the language by achieving a C1 level. On her return to Spain she worked as a project manager in a translation agency. Here she gained an in-depth knowledge on the most used translation, database and management tools. But above all else, she learnt about teamwork, ensuring the correct execution of the translation process and technical troubleshooting.

Throughout the course of her career, she has specialized in the legal, economic and commercial translation fields and obtained her Sworn Translator accreditation from the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation. All of this, combined with her training in new technologies applied to translation, make her a very up-to-date professional.

Liamar has an attitude irrecoverably focused on a strict compliance with deadlines, helping translators when required and much more.
